Mount Madden Bulk Storage Refurbishment x 2
In 2025, Promako was engaged to undertake a major refurbishment of 2 x bulk storage facilities in Mount Madden. The purpose of the refurbishment was to extend the storages operational life by an additional 25 years and ensuring continued high-performance service.
The comprehensive scope of works included:
- High-volume washdown and thorough surface preparation
- Removal of the existing seal using high-pressure water blasting
- Complete removal and replacement of cladding
- Structural repairs, including replacement of damaged delta core wall panels.
- Application of specialised coatings to enable controlled atmosphere fumigation
- Civil repairs to damaged sections of asphalt pavement
Practical Completion is scheduled for August 2025.
