Corrigin Bulk Storage Refurbishment
In 2025, Promako was engaged to undertake a major refurbishment of a bulk storage facility in Corrigin. The purpose of the refurbishment was to extend the storages operational life by an additional 25 years and ensuring continued high-performance service.
The comprehensive scope of works included:
- Custom design and installation of Height Safety Access System
- High-volume washdown and thorough surface preparation
- Removal of the existing seal using high-pressure water blasting
- Complete removal and replacement of cladding
- Structural repairs to critical areas
- External Concrete Wall treatment and specialised coating
- Application of specialised coatings to enable controlled atmosphere fumigation
Practical Completion was achieved in June 2025, with a half-life pressure test successfully conducted to verify the integrity of the new seal and confirm that the structure is safe and effective for fumigation.
